Hollywood actors are coming out of the woodwork to weigh in on the current political happenings surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak, with most of them attacking President Donald Trump for a number of issues, including an incident that happened this week involving the president criticizing NBC News White House correspondent Peter Alexander.
According to Breitbart, actor John Cusack is the latest celebrity to grace the nation with his thoughts about the president, telling Trump he should “rot in hell” in a recent Twitter post.
Cusack’s outburst came a day after Trump responded harshly to Alexander after at a recent Coronavirus task force press briefing he asked the president whether or not he was giving Americans false hope about his response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
“It is possible that your impulse to put a positive spin on things may be giving Americans a false sense of hope about our level of preparedness right now?” Alexander asked.
Not long after that question, Alexander asked the president what message he had for Americans who currently feel scared about the situation.
“I say that you’re a terrible reporter. That’s what I say. I think that’s a very nasty question, and I think that’s a very bad signal that you’re putting out to the American people,” Trump responded.
As expected, left-leaning media outlets weren’t thrilled with the president’s response to Alexander. The exchange prompted Cusack to weigh in on Twitter.

TRUMP: “I say that you’re a terrible reporter, that’s what I say.”

Other celebs, including Rob Reiner, tweeted their negative thoughts about the situation, even accusing the president of “mental instability.”
When Trump was asked by NBC’s Peter Alexander what he would say to people who are scared right now, he exhibited his severe mental instability and scared US all shitless.
